Streetwear Vibes

This post is sponsored by Macy's. All opinions are my own.

When neon hit the Fall 2018 runway shows, I was eager to see how the trend would show up in everyday fashion. It has been so fun to see that neon is truly spread across all genres: cocktail dresses, chunky sweaters, and even streetwear. Neon isn't the only fun trend that Macy's has compiled in their new Streetwear Collection! It is full of incredible prints and materials made by brands I love and trust, including Juicy Couture.

Rooted in California surf culture, streetwear has always been about comfort and cool. Over the years, it has expanded and become such a diverse category of fashion. From jeans and tees, to joggers and cropped tops, streetwear now combines elements of high and low fashion to create an incredibly cool, urban-inspired look. Macy's Streetwear Collection embodies this. It's the perfect combination of  athleisure and uber trendy pieces, such as camo track pants and denim overalls.

Jordan and I had fun shooting around the valley in this look from the collection. Both the jogger pants and cropped jacket are by Juicy Couture. The material is insane. It is so lightweight and has this amazing sheen to it that makes it look a bit like leather. Definitely Blade Runner vibes.  Because I love that movie, and the 80s in general, I paired this look with more neon in my jewelry and bold aviator sunglasses (similar here and here). I threw on a longer cut sports bra under the Juicy top, because the universe knows it's hot as heck here in LA! A much needed layering piece for the heat. Shoes are classic slides by Adidas.

I had a really hard time deciding which look to shoot from this collection. Macy's has curated such an inspiring and fun selection. I've included some other styles in my Shop the Look that I'm also digging.
