20 Los Angeles Date Ideas You Need to Try
Quigs here!
When we’re not cuddled on the couch watching The Bachelor or Downton Abbey, Alex and I love to hit the town for a date! There are so many cool spots in Los Angeles, which make us never run out of ideas. Here’s my list of some of the amazing places that are equal parts romantic and fun!
Seeing the Sights
Watch the sunset at El Matador Beach (or really any beach!)
Stargaze at Griffith Observatory
Ride a Swan Pedal Boat in Echo Park
Visit a museum – There are so many, but some that I absolutely love are The Getty, The Broad, LACMA, MOCA, and The Huntington Library.
Bike the beach at Manhattan Beach
Eating It Up
Eat a bite (or two) at Grand Central Market
Go out to Good Times at Davey Wayne’s
Grab a round at No Vacancy
Get energized at Alfred
Catch dinner at Catch LA
Hitting the Town
Watch a play or musical – Cages is my ABSOLUTE favorite right now!
Go to a concert – Some amazing venues are Hollywood Bowl, Forum, Greek Theatre, Fonda Theatre, and in a few months, SoFi Stadium (because T. Swift will be the first artist to rock out there!)
Catch a game at the Staples Center or Dodger’s Stadium
Watch a movie (in style!) – Some cool theaters are Hollywood Forever Cemetery, Vista Vintage Cinema, and Rooftop Cinema Club.
Laugh it up at a comedy show – We always love The Comedy Store, Laugh Factory, and Upright Citizens Brigade.
Staying Local
Browse vendors at a flea/farmer’s market – Check out the Rose Bowl Flea Market, Melrose Trading Post, and The Original Farmers Market.
Take a workout class – There are also great hiking trails like, Fryman Canyon or Runyon Canyon, if that’s more your speed.
Paint some pottery at a ceramic studio – One of my favorites is Color Me Mine in Studio City!
Volunteer for a charity – Pick a cause that is near and dear to your hearts. One of ours is Bark n’ Bitches!
Cook a meal (complete with dessert, of course!)
