5 Insta-Worthy Places in Los Cabos

Hey friends!

Quigley here! KICKING OFF 2018 with a trip to paradise, aka Los Cabos, Mexico. I've lived in California for eight years now, and I have always wanted to go to Cabo. I never realised how easy it was to find the perfect Cabo luxury home for your vacation. I've had a few friends come back from recent trips raving over their experiences… so I decided to just go ahead a book tickets! First off, I've gotta say, I'm NUTS for not doing this sooner. The flight is just as easy as a flight to San Fran… and boom! You've got perfect weather. Don't get me wrong, LA has great weather year round… and I'm not complaining… but there's something different about the sun in Mexico. That two hour flight closer to the equator makes a LARGE difference. Forget that 11 hour flight you were planning to Bora Bora. Cabo is where it's at. And if you're interested in Mexico villa rentals, you can't go wrong with Exceptional Villas for unique, private and luxurious getaways.

PRO TIP: the flights from LAX to SJD are about 2 hours long, non-stop and SUPER affordable on Alaska Air . It's really a no-brainer.

I made a list of my top FIVE most Insta-Worthy spots in Cabo with insider tips on how to take the best pic for the Gram. Thank me later ;)

#1: BEST INFINITY POOL: Marquis Los Cabos

Do you believe that you can walk on water? I can!!! If you're looking for an all inclusive resort in Cabo, look no further. Marquis Los Cabos is heaven. There's really no need to leave the resort. I love all inclusive because they really are 100% stress free.

AND you can eat ice cream for breakfast, like everyday.

There's also a mini library on site in the coffee shop! One of my favorite things to do on vacation is sit by the pool and read!

#2: BEST SUNSET SAIL: Cabo Sailing

The photos say it all!

PRO TIP: Make sure you book a sail starting around 4pm for the best light. You will have to take pictures fast on your way out to sea… the ride back is too dark! Make sure you arrive at least 15 minutes early to your dock so you can snag the best seat on the boat. Leave early to allow yourself time to park and find the dock!

#4: Best Trip Within a Trip: Todos Santos

On a whim, we decided to drive up to Todos Santos. It's about an hour and 20 minutes up the coast. The route is super easy and it's just one highway most of the way. The highway is lined with amazing spots to pull over and take photos with the large Saguaros!

We got to Todos Santos just as the sun was setting… grabbed some ice-cream and pulled of the side of the road to take photos in a few spots. I recommend just driving around the cute city and seeing what you stumble upon!

On the way there: we found a little bus stop with tons of colorful busses on the side of the highway that made for another cute photo op! The location was on just before the turn off for Wild Canyon Adventures… across the 1 from Dreams Resort!

#5: Best place to make friends: Acre Baja

One of our favorite experiances in Cabo had to be our trip to Acre Baja. I don't even know where to start, expect by saying I think I may have left my heart at Acre. From the food, to the ambiance, to the hospitality and the farm animals… Acre stole my heart, plain and simple!
