When the weather gets cold, all I want to be is cozy. Of course, being cute is also a bonus. Recently, I swung by Express at the mall by my house in Sherman Oaks and the store is jam packed with adorable knit sweaters. From pull-overs, to sleeveless turtle necks... I was having a hay day. I also found an adorable vest that you can convert to wear as a scarf too. Double WHAMMY! I picked out a favorite to shoot on the blog today because I just adored the textured of the knit. It's a chunky wool blend sweater that's actually named a "Coatigan," because it wears like a coat and a cartigan had a baby. ;) I also love that it has little peaks of various colors poking out of the wool to give it a super unique texture and depth.Another thing I adore about this Coatigan from Express is the POCKETS!!!! How can you have a sweater without pockets? I paired this Coatigan with a pair of vintage aviator frames. In the winter months, we rarely have enough sun to wear our cute sunnies... so buy yourself a pair of sexy clear prescription lens instead! They are such a fun accessory! I'm also wearing Twig by MAC on my lips... a cool shade of rose for those cool winter months.
