Top 10 Newborn Essentials

This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of UPPAbaby. All opinions are 100% mine.

I’m here to give you my 10 must-have things I think you need for your newborn. These products have saved baby (and me) after pregnancy! Links to shop in the title of the item as well as at the bottom of the blog!

1. UPPAbaby VISTA V2 Stroller

UPPAbaby is a must for us! Alex and I have always loved our morning walks with the dogs, and the VISTA V2 stroller allows us to take Max along with us comfortably and safely. This stroller will also be able to grow with Max as it comes with a bassinet and toddler seat (not to mention bug and rain shields for the unpredictable outdoors!) An added bonus is it’s so chic to stroll around that I’m noticing our walks are getting a bit longer each day!

2. Birthing Ball

You must have a birthing ball for bouncing. This is what gets us through the nights and saves my back. I’m always hunched over baby, so the ball allows me to hold him while moving. I can also do pelvic rolls to stretch my back.

3. Halo Sleep Swaddle

Max’s favorite swaddle. This was the first product we ordered more of when we got Max home. He wears the cotton one for day time and the fleece for night!

4. Oogiebear

Baby nose picker. This was the only way to get boogers out while Max was congested from Covid! The suction type products didn’t work as well for us.

5. Snuggle Me

This is the only thing besides our arms Max will take naps in at the moment!

6. Boppy

My favorite breast feeding pillow!

7. Hatch Diaper Changer / Scale

Since every baby needs diaper changes, I highly suggest Hatch’s diaper changing pad. It also acts as a scale that can track baby’s weight gain! The app that’s connected is super user friendly and easier to understand!

8. Hatch Sleep

Love this as a night light and sound machine for the babies room! Tip: turn up the white noise during late night feedings. Also, choose a red / warm tone light as it reduces cortisol and will help you get back to sleep after snack time.

9. Ubbi Diaper Pail

We all know it - babies poop - A LOT. The Ubbi diaper pail is a super convenient way to store the dirty diapers until you’re ready to toss a whole bag in the trash. It is super simple looking, so it blends in with any nursery decor. The best part - it doesn’t ever small - I’m SHOCKED.

10. Earth Mama Sweet Orange Baby Lotion and Wash

I mentioned the brand Earth Mama in my previous blog about postpartum essentials, and I can say, I am still loving it. They also have baby wash and lotion, which is formulated clean and smells amazing. What more could u want?!

Bonus: Wabi Sanitizer (Splurge Item)

This thing is life changing. While it is on the pricey side, you can dry and Sanitize literally everything from pacifiers to toys to electronics! The design is super modern & chic, and is very compact/lightweight!
