Well… for about a year now, I've been pinning photos of various hot air balloon festivals all over the world, and attending one quickly made its way to the TOP of my bucket list. It just seemed so magical to see so many hot air balloons up in the sky at one time, each balloon a work of art, unique in its own way.

A Weekend Away in Monterey
It’s not a secret that I LOVE traveling. And it’s also not a secret that I absolutely adore HBO’s TV show “Big Little Lies” (I’ve re-watched it multiple times and read the book). So when the opportunity to travel to Monterey and visit all the major film locations from the show popp’ed up in my inbox-my suitcase basically packed it’s self for me!!!

Oh, Bali! You have my heart. Let’s be real, if you’ve been to Bali… you know it’s a pretty magical destination. It’s been on my bucket list for ages, and I finally got a chance to visit in September. Bali didn’t just live up to it’s reputation… it blew all of the other places I’ve ever been to out of the water. It’s the kind of place you wind up comparing to heaven on countless occasions, and fantasize about when you’re stuck in traffic.
Model Behavior in Joshua Tree
Last week, Alex and I went out to Joshua Tree with our friend Phil Chester to help him with a photography workshop. We got to model, as Phil taught tips and trick of the trade to 10 students from across the country. It was such a fun experience! I also got to play a little dress up while I was at it and try out some new goodies that I recently got from Express.

Last week's trip to San Diego gave us the opportunity to swing by a few spots I've been wanting to try out. One of which was the beautiful Mission Basilica San Diego de Alcala. It was built in 1769 and is California's oldest standing mission! From the beautiful Spanish style architecture to the bells, arches and fountains... I was blown away. Fun fact: this is also home to the first documented olive orchard in California!
Bates Nut Farm with the Jackpots
Wow. I had no idea being married would be this fun!!! Alex and I drove out to Bates Nut Farm last week and enjoyed a day of pumpkin hunting and nostalgia. We felt like kids again. Married kids!

Fall into NYC!
What's Fall without a little NYC? Between the colorful crisp change to the season, and fashion week creating a giddy buzz in the air, there's no denying NYC comes to life in the months leading up to winter. I made it out to visit a few weeks ago, and of course, I packed my big hats and flowy dresses.
